Standard Return Policy: Any product purchased from MTNSIDE, may be returned within 30 days for credit to card, in house credit or exchange, as long as it is unused, tags attached, and in its original and re-sellable condition.
Holiday Return Policy: Any product purchased from MTNSIDE between 11/15 and 12/24, is eligible for extended return dates, and may be returned before 1/15 for credit to card, in house credit or exchange, as long as it is unused, tags attached, and in its original and re-sellable condition.
We do not accept used items, but we are happy to help you through any manufacturer defects and warranty issues with our vendors. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, include any images and details of the issue so we can help determine the correct course of action.
Warranty vs. Pilot error. To be clear, a warranty claim will be considered by vendors when the product, after being used in the normal course of action, has failed in some way. Examples may include, zippers or seams that have come unstitched, helmet ventilation sliders that don’t slide, double lens goggles that are fogging between lenses, delamination of ptex bases for no apparent reason.
In comparison pilot error is identified by dented helmets from gorilla like handling, goggles scratched to the point of being unusable, skis or boards with the tree bark still in the impact area, or base delamination from over zealous wax ironing.
We’ll do our best to be your advocate for you within the vendors established warranty period and parameters (often one year and need the original dated receipt) but it’s usually fairly clear if you fall into the defective category or the pilot error category.
